kfl.org.uk is a charity that has been working with young people since 1974. Our aim is to use the arts to inspire young people to fulfil their potential, with a particular emphasis on those who are at most disadvantage in society.
We fulfil this mission by:
Our work takes place in an Estate of buildings (new and old) in 4 acres of land in Kingswood, Bristol on a site of a school founded by John Wesley in 1748.
Approximately 30,000 sq feet of space has been refurbished in the last 10 years and is let on a variety of short and long-term leases to tenants including artists, youth and community groups and small businesses. There are also meeting rooms, a café, dance studio and other rehearsal spaces available for hire on an hourly/daily basis.
Owners of the www.kfl.org.uk run a summer school for 11-14 year olds each year during the holidays. During those, young people tried activities such as aerial, junk music, art, dance and trapeze.
